If you didn't think Black Friday was crazy enough, this year we'll have the two new game consoles in the mix.
Sony has announced the PlayStation 4 will launch November 15 at $399. Microsoft hasn't nailed down a solid date yet other than "November," but it will sell for $499.
By the way, Microsoft has rolled back everything you hated about the One. The used game restrictions, online requirements and the requirement the camera-based Kinect be plugged in at all times are all gone. The game console will come with a Kinect you can use or not at your discretion.
Other than that, there's relatively few functional differences between the two most people would notice. A handful of games are exclusive to one or another and the One appears to have a few more media capabilities, but that's it. Which one you pick is really a matter of preference.
Or should you get either? Nearly all the games for the two systems are also coming out for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and in some cases the Wii U. They might not look as good, but that's some consolation if you're not up for the steep launch prices.
