Keeping with the Big 12 vs. SEC theme of the week, I found something pretty cool from a year ago, when the two conferences ...

You know what's weird? Not a single Oklahoma Sooner has been honored as a Big 12 Player of the Week, offense, defense or special teams.
That could (should?) change very soon.
The West Virginia defense is on an amazing run – it has made a Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week of four straight opponents.
Texas Tech quarterback Seth Doege was first to pick on the Mountaineers back on Oct. 13. He went 32-of-42 for 499 yards and 6 touchdowns, then said: "When you don't have a pass rush it's a lot easier to make your reads."
Hey now!
Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein was next in line. He launched his Heisman campaign, Oct. 20 in Morgantown. He went 19-of-21 for 323 yards. Not bad for a guy with the throwing motion of Al Oerter.
"I'm embarrassed," WVU co-defensive coordinator Joe DeForest said afterward. "This is not how West Virginia defenses play."
Actually, Coach, that is exactly how the Mountaineers play. Case in point: Offensive Player of the Week No. 3 – TCU wide receiver Josh Boyce, who torched you for 6 catches, 180 yards and 2 touchdowns Nov. 3.
Which brings us to Josh Stewart, the Oklahoma State wideout who went off for 13 catches, 172 yards and a 46-yard touchdown on a reverse last week in Stillwater.
