If you haven’t caught
Prince Harry showing his royal heiny gracing…gosh…so déclassé …the net, well,
TMZ is all yours.
Apparently that so-talked-about royal trip to the states got risqué fast during a game of strip billiards in Vegas. All set during what sounds like a pretty wild hotel party in, someone caught a few snaps of the prince in the buff---well almost, well pretty much.
Oh, Prince Harry. Uh-uh-uh
And what does the Queen think? Well “Strip off his crown. Retire from royalty. Leave the firm and join the crowd,” reads an editorial in today's
Guardian.
As our music writer Jennifer Chancellor said, “What happens in Vegas, didn’t stay in Vegas.” Touché.
In other news…It’s not new that plenty of rappers out there aren’t worth any of the salt they claim in their lyrics, but “Mama Said Knock You Out” hip hop artist
LL Cool J backed up his words when he found an intruder in his home in the wee hours of the morning today.
E! News reports that when law enforcement officials arrived at LL’s Los Angeles home, the would-be burglar, a 58-year-old man, had been a little bruised up by the Grammy-winner turned NCIS star, and what’s more detained the guy for the police to take away once they got there.
Said spokesman for LL Cool J (James Todd Smith): “LL Cool J, and his family, are safe and thank everyone for their thoughts and concern. As a father, husband and citizen, he is committed to keeping his family safe and is cooperating with authorities on this private matter."
And while on the subject of performance artists you might not want to mess with …People reports that pop rock singer
Avril Lavigne is getting married. After keeping their relationship underwraps for the past six months, Lavigne and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger are engaged.
The magazine reports the two first got together when they co-wrote a song for Lavigne’s upcoming studio album, and from there it was love songs and Lavigne's heavily shadowed eyes gazing into Kroeger’s.
A friend of the Canadian songstress did in fact tell
People their relationship did blossom out of all that time spent song writing, however.
Kroeger asked the big question earlier this month with 14-carat ring,
People reports.
And with news of marriage, there's news of divorce Or at least a little more closure to this TomKat split business. E! reports that Monday, a New York judge signed off on the final judgment of the
Tom Cruise and
Katie Holmes's divorce case, officially ending their five-year marriage.
Only less than two months earlier had Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise, seeking full custody of the couple’s daughter Suri.
In the time since then, (which pop media makes feel like ages) we’ve heard about Holmes and Suri’s trip to the grocery story, Suri’s tantrum over a puppy, Holmes and Suri at the art museum, Suri crying about something else… etcetera.
Maybe, with these new papers in order, Holmes and Cruise can go back to ordinary celebrity life where we’re not hearing about
all of their waking moments each day, just several of them.
And still weighing the end of "The Office," which, ahem, was such.a.good.move. Something about Pam and Jim getting married and having kids, then Michael J. Scott leaving sort of took the wind out of the show. Can’t wait to see what Season 9 has in store! So long as it doesn’t end the same way Michael left Scranton.
