The world is under attack. Aliens have invaded the Earth and things look dire. But thankfully the governments of the world have come together to combat this great threat. The XCOM project has been launched to give the world a fighting chance. However within XCOM’s ranks, there is a special group of individuals who have stepped up to become leaders of the battlefield: The Prairie Nerds. Now with the alien threat becoming more and more aggressive, the hope and survival of the world will surely rest on these soldier’s shoulders.
These are the brave nerds who have decided to step up and save the world.

James Royal
Codename: Iceman
Class: Assault
Specialization: An up-close tactician. Prefers to be on the front lines of a battlefield to analyze any situation and handle it. The more enemies he sees, the more defensive he gets. If he can’t be the one to deliver the finishing blow to an enemy, he will at least set up his team to do so.

Anna Codutti
Codename: Ace
Class: Assault
Specialization: Close-quarters combat. Prefers flanking maneuvers in an effort to get behind enemies and surprise them before they have time to react. With such blinding speed, she can evade enemy fire from those that try to get the drop on her and can even get off two shots before an enemy can respond.

Michael Dambold
Codename: Mike
Class: Sniper
Specialization: A sentry of the battlefield; Serves as lookout for the team. His impressive field of vision can put him in firing range of nearly any hostile thanks to his teammates. He is such a great shot, he can even take out an opponent’s weapon if he so chooses to.

Matt Clayton
Codename: Smash
Class: Assault
Specialization: Charges into the battlefield with the intent to to massive damage. He attacks hard and swift. Clayton’s strategies primarily deal with aggressive actions. The more enemies he sees in a fight, the harder he strives to take them out.

Jason Powers
Codename: Powers
Class: Support
Specialization: The medic of the team. He is the one who keeps the mission going by making sure the rest of the nerds stay alive and also provides cover with smoke grenades if they find themselves in a sticky situation. |
Every week, come back here to hear the exploits of these brave nerds as they strive to eliminate the alien aggressors. The very fate of the world rest upon the mantle of these nerds. If they fail, the world fails.
