Wanda Jackson will be a guest on RSU Public Television’s “
Green Country Perspectives with Sam Jones” at 9 p.m. Friday.
Jackson — “
The Queen of Rockabilly” and a singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist — was one of the first popular female rockabilly singers and a pioneer rock ’n’ roller.
Jackson will discuss her life, music and the personalities she worked with during her career, including

Jerry Lee Lewis and more.
“Green Country Perspectives with Sam Jones” is a weekly series designed to promote public affairs, cultural understanding and the arts, hosted by veteran Tulsa news anchor Sam Jones.
