Rascal Flatts

Country act Rascal Flatts (with Picher native Joe Don Rooney) earned its 10th chart-topping single recently, with "Here Comes Goodbye."

Recently, the band also won a record-breaking seventh consecutive Vocal Group of the Year win at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Last week, the Rascal Flatts (members Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney) tune leaped from No. 6 to No. 1 to become the most played country record in America on the Billboard/R&R and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts.

“With everything this past week has brought we are blown away to have our tenth No. 1 single with ‘Here Comes Goodbye,’” DeMarcus said in a press statement, “And (we) are so thankful to country radio and the fans for all their support."

Rascal Flatts is also poised to score another No. 1 this week as their new CD "Unstoppable" is in position to debut at No. 1 on both the Country and Top 200 sales charts.

Racal Flatts will appear on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" today and "Dancing With The Stars" on April 14 plus "the Late Show with David Letterman" and Fox News Channel’s "Hannity" on April 16.
