The "King and Queen" of country music, George Strait and Reba McEntire, are on the cover of the Aug. 6 edition of Country Weekly, on stands now.

The cover story, “Who Can Fill Their Shoes?,” asks the question of which up-and-coming country acts might leave a legacy as lasting as the Texas musician and his Oklahoma-raised, red-haired colleague.

The magazine also singles out three Sooner staters as possible heirs to the throne: "Which of today’s big stars will achieve legendary status? Carrie Underwood? Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert?"

CW also floats Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum and Brad Paisley.

Also included in the issue are tour details with Clinton-born country star Toby Keith.
