Oklahoma native Reba McEntire loves everything about her new series "Malibu Country" coming to ABC this fall.

"I love the whole concept of it! Moving from Nashville to L.A., which I did in 2001 when we came out to do the Reba TV show," said the country star and actress who was promoting the new series at the ABC portion of the Television Critics Association summer tour in Los Angeles this week, according to etonline.com.

In the situation comedy, McEntire stars as a woman who finds out her country music legend husband has been cheating on her. The character, also named Reba, moves from Nashville to Malibu, Calif., with her teen children and eccentric mother (played by Lily Tomlin) with the ultimate plan of restarting her singing career. The series will air Fridays starting Nov. 2.

McEntire told the etonline.com that casting Lily Tomlin as her co-star was "a dream come true."

"I was thrilled," said McEntire, a native of Chockie. "I've known Lily since 2001 we met when I was doing Broadway and I just absolutely idolize her. I think she's brilliant… Just to get to work with her is a dream come true."

The former Oklahoman, who last starred in her own series "Reba" from 2001-2007, and her husband and manager Narvel Blackstock are among the executive producers of the new show.
