Chockie native and country music superstar Reba McEntire will Christan the newest Norwegian cruise ship in a special ceremony, her official website reports.
At about 4,400 passengers, the Norwegian Epic is the line's biggest ever.
The on-board ceremony will be July 2 in New York City, and will kick off a weekend of festivities.
She also will be considered the god-mother of the ship, which will feature entertainment acts like the Blue Man Group, Legends in Concert and more.
McEntire is a two-time Grammy winner with more than 30 No. 1 hit singles.
