Chalk it up as things that go on that we might not want to know about.
New York restauranteur Willie Degel will be laying down the law for restaurant owners who have no clue what goes on when they aren’t watching in the new series "Restaurant Stakeout." It debuts March 14 on Food Network.
On the series, Degel uses hidden cameras to help food establishments with issues clean up their act.
As a no-nonsense coach, he puts managers, waiters, bartenders and hostesses through challenging situations and confronts them with difficult customers. Some will get the message and others will be shown the door, according to press information.
In the premiere episode, the Lexington Grille and Pub is no longer successful and is at the mercy of an out-of-control staff plus the restaurant is throwing away money. Degel uses a covert stakeout to see where all the cash is going.
The series will air at 9 p.m. Wednesdays airs on cable 58 in Tulsa.
