Oklahoma-born guitarist Neal Schon released his solo album, "The Calling," this week.

Schon oworked up with Dan Barnett ("Journey: Live In Manila") to co-produce the video, filmed in San Francisco and Marin County.
The album can be purchased at iTunes and Amazon.
The album also is produced by Schon, and reunites him with former Journey bandmate Steve Smith on drums. Grammy Award-winning special guest Jan Hammer (Jeff Beck, Mahavishnu Orchestra,) recorded Moog synthesizer solos on two tracks: "Fifty Six" and "Tumbleweeds."
