New York City musician and songwriter who emphasizes strong visuals in her videos and compelling lyrics in her hypnotic vocals.
She's
South Korea-born, and raised in
Africa and
Europe. She now lives in
New York City.
While in Europe, she began writing music with musician
David Steele, formerly of
Fine Young Cannibals and
The English Beat. She launched her solo career in 2007.
Her vocal stylings are frequently compared to

Chrissie Hynde,
Fiona Apple and
Grace Jones.
