Grover was always my favorite Sesame Street character.

@KimKardashian and @KanyeWest may be among the most prolific and followed tweeters, but today @SesameStreet dominated Twitter with its brilliant and adorable "Monster at the end of this Twitter conversation" series of tweets.

After that post, Grover chimes in via @SesameStreet in a tweet that reads, "Grover: WHAT DID THAT SAY?"

Grover goes on to ask @SesameStreet followers not to retweet, which of course begs for thousands of RTs. My beloved Wil Wheaton ("Eureka," "The Big Bang Theory") joined the fun and seemed to quite enjoy himself.

The tweet series, after about a dozen pleas from Grover that the masses stop retweeting, ends with three lovely tweets: "Grover: I, lovable, furry old Grover am the Monster at the end of this twitter conversation! / Grover: And _you_ were so scared! / Grover: (Oh, I am so embarrassed...)"
