Siegi's Sausage Factory owner Siegi Sumaruk will host an Oktoberfest celebration Saturday. STEPHEN PINGRY, Tulsa World file
Siegi’s Sausage Factory, 8104 S. Sheridan Road, will stage its first Oktoberfest celebration 5-11 p.m. Saturday.
Among the food offerings will be three sausages on a bun with sauerkraut and mustard; a sausage plate with sauerkraut potato salad and bread; a schnitzel sandwich, schnitzel plate, large pretzel, Bavarian cheesecake and apple strudel.
Imported beers will be available on tap for the 21-and-over event.
AlpenMusikanten, a five-member band from Allen, Texas, will provide the entertainment. Its motto: Will polka for beer.
Guests also may compete in yodeling and stein-holding contests.
Advance tickets are $10 and include one free beer ticket. Price at the door will be $15. These prices do not include food and additional drinks.
Attendance will be capped at 400.
