I received information this week from both Bodean Seafood Restaurant and Bonefish Grill about soft shell crab season.
Bodean is selling soft shell "whale" blue crabs in its market for $6.99 each. Bodean also noted that the popular Copper River salmon has arrived. The Wild King salmon is $39.99 a pound and the Sockeye salmon $29.99 a pound.
Bonefish Grill is offering a sauteed Maryland soft shell crab dinner for $17.90. It is stuffed with jumbo lump crab and topped with a lemon caper sauce. Bonefish expects the soft shell crab to be around only for a few weeks.
