As an OSU grad, it hurt to see the news about Justin Blackmon. Maybe the Jaguars will put in place similar restrictions the ...
A couple thoughts with fantasy drafts just four months away.
Is Eddie Lacy the only back worth a pick?
Absolutely ...
No one thought Adrian Peterson was going to be 100 percent, much less get 9 yards away from breaking Eric Dickerson’s single ...
All these guys need are opportunities. For receivers, those opportunities are called targets, the number of times their quarterbacks threw to them.
Here are some of the names that might surprise you in the number of targets.
Brandon Marshall 145
Dwayne Bowe 141
Antonio Brown 123
Greg Little 121
Roddy White lead the league with 181 targets. What's my point? Always keep in mind the guys who are being feed the ball a lot. They have the best chance to go from a so-so player to a fantasy starter.
Bowe and Marshall rank ninth and 10th in the league for players with the most drops over the past three years. But I think both will make leaps this season thanks to better quarterback play.
Brown's numbers are going to go up now that he's the No. 2 receiver without any competition.
Out of this list, Little is the most interesting. He's in the same offense he was in last season in Cleveland. Brandon Weeden is likely to be his quarterback, who I think is a huge improvement over Colt McCoy. With that many targets, he could easily catch 90 balls. He caught 61 with that many targets last season. A more accurate QB and a better running game could make that happen. If you could grab a 90 catch player late in the draft, you have yourself a steal.
