What's the most embarrassing thing ...

As I confessed in my Tuesday column, I'm a clumsy hooker.

But I'm also nosy, as I want to hear about YOUR most embarrassing ...

Is it really vandalism when it's a sticker with the words "nipple clamps"?

Aside from enjoying humorous ones spied on others' automobiles, I'm not a fan of bumper stickers.

I blame my father, ...

Where is the oddest place you've ever taken cover during bad weather?

During last week's bad weather, when a tornado siren sounded around midnight, I was caught at a midtown QuikTrip.

I've been in love with a girl named Sia since January 2008.

After a nasty breakup in fall 2007, I was more than ready for some empowering theme music blended with some "yeah, that's how I felt at the time" catharsis. Or something less dooshy sounding than that.

Anyway, after Christmas '07, I heard that Australian-born Sia Furler's "Some People Have Real Problems" album was awesome, so I drove to Borders (I miss them) and bought it -- and immediately fell in love. So much so, in fact, that Shadey and I drove to Dallas two months later to hear her at House of Blues -- wonderful concert. She's one of the few artists who actually sounds as good if not better live than on an album.

Since then, I've just fallen more madly in love with Sia, who's among my Top 3 all-time favorite artists, along with Neko Case and Sarah McLachlan.

So, nerdy as it seems, I get really excited when artists I adore start garnering more and more attention, as Sia has done in the past year or two. She's already had a Top 10 hit this year, having been featured on Flo Rida's "Wild Ones" single. And, finally, after being released months ago, her single with David Guetta, "Titanium," is No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Other than loving Sia, the other reason I'm geeking out over this song is the message in the lyrics. Have you not seen it yet? Check it out below.

You can interpret it as having an anti-bullying message, or it can be a "screw you" to an ex, or it can just be your empowerment song for the day. Whatever, it's some of the best pop I've heard come along all year.

So what's your favorite song of the summer so far? I may not have heard it yet, and I love being introduced to new music. So please share!

Peace, love and titanium ... XOXO

P.S.: Does the kid in the video for "Titanium" look familiar to you? Did you see the movie "Super 8"? Well, that's why -- he's in it. You're welcome.
