Ok, ok. So our lovely songstress Adele is not perfect.
She won six Grammys last week and even more at the recent Brit Awards, across the pond.
But she is in a bit of a pickle today, after raising
her middle finger at said awards, in an act of protest.
Can we say M.I.A. at the Super Bowl?
But alas, Adele gave a decent explanation. She appears to be going all
Russell Crowe on everyone -- well, in a less violent way.
She was interrupted while accepting her award (how rude!), and responded with the one-finger salute. But it wasn't intended for the fans, she says, it was a tribute to the "suits."
“I was about to thank the British public for their support and they cut me off, and I’m sorry if I offended anyone,” she said in a statement to the media. “But the suits offended me, so thank you very much for all of your support.”
That said, Adele has some pretty fingers -- she created quite the manicure buzz last week at the Grammys with her Christian Louboutin nails.
