The first indication it wasn’t a normal Tuesday was when Trey Millard entered the Adrian Peterson Team Meeting Room wearing a gorilla suit under his No. 33 jersey.
Yes, the Oklahoma Sooners gave in and put together their own Harlem Shake video following practice.
“I was hanging off one of the Heisman statues — Steve Owens,” Millard said. “He was up there with me.”
Owens was in the 44-second video. Also attending was Billy Sims, Barry Switzer, Roy Williams and Brian Bosworth.
Bosworth rides up on a motorcycle at the beginning and gives Switzer — who was wearing his fur coat — a high five before everything breaks loose.
The video took place in Heisman Park. Aaron Colvin’s solo dance ignited the party that featured players dressed as Spiderman, the Hulk, Santa Claus and rabbits. Switzer is dancing in his fur coat while wearing the Golden Hat awarded to the OU-Texas winner.
Sterling Shepard was asked who was the best dancer. He chose himself before picking defensive lineman Torrea Peterson.
