A good recipe and a good story: That's what it takes to win Smucker's "Spreading Smucker's Traditions" contest.
The prize for this summer recipe contest is a good one. One winner will receive a five-day, four-night family trip for eight to Walt Disney World in Florida.
Recipes must include at least 1/4 cup of Smucker's jam, jelly or preserves. The essay should be 200 words or less and should tell the story behind how the recipe makes family celebrations special.
Entries must be received between June 16 and Aug. 11. Top entries will be posted on the Smucker's Web site on Sept. 8. Then, visitors will vote on their favorites. Go to www.smuckers.com to enter.
It would be great to see a Tulsan win this contest.
