How quickly they forget.
Goes to show you.
And every other expression that could fit producers for "The Price Is Right" not inviting longtime host
Bob Barker to participate in the show’s 40th anniversary special.
During the episode that aired Tuesday, former contestants returned to celebrate. Clips of the show’s early days featuring Barker were screened for nostalgia. But no Barker, who hosted the show for 35 years, was in sight.
The show’s producers “chose to ignore me, which is fine,” the 88-year-old told the Associated Press. “They haven’t even offered me a DVD.”
Show producers had no comment, the AP reports.
Barker taped his last episode of the popular daytime game show in June 2007 and was succeeded by Drew Carey.
