This week’s First Friday Art Crawl in the Brady Arts District will feature a special work of art being created on the Guthrie Green.
Students of the Tulsa Girls Art School will begin work at 6 p.m. Friday on a mural that will be presented to the cast and crew of the touring production of Blue Man Group during its week-long stay in Tulsa.
The mural will be presented prior to the Wednesday evening performance by Blue Man Group at the Tulsa PAC, and will be remain on display at the PAC through the run of the show. The TGAS students will also be attend Wednesday’s performance.
Ziegler’s Art and Frame and Anchor Paints donated the supplies for the project.
Blue Man Group, presented by Celebrity Attractions, opens its eight-performance run Tuesday at the Tulsa PAC, 101 E. Third St. Tickets are $25-$75 (918-596-7111,

Tulsa Girls Arts School is a non-profit art studio specializing in training talented and motivated elementary school-aged girls living in the inner city of Tulsa in various arts disciplines, taught by local professional artists and art teachers.
