At 5 p.m. today at the Reynolds Center, University of Tulsa basketball coach Danny Manning presides over a 90-minute practice session that is open to the public.

After practice ends, there is a period during which fans can talk with coaches and players.

At 12-9 overall and 4-3 in Conference USA, the Golden Hurricane resumes league play on Saturday at Memphis (1 p.m., CBS Sports Network cable 249). In advance of tonight’s game at East Carolina, Memphis is 16-3 overall and 5-0 in C-USA. The Tigers have a 10-game win streak – their longest in four seasons with Josh Pastner as coach.

Saturday’s TU-Memphis contest is played on the second anniversary of the Hurricane’s 2011 victory at the FedEx Forum. TU ended a 12-game losing streak against the Tigers. Last season, in former Hurricane coach Doug Wojcik’s final game at the Reynolds Center, Memphis defeated Tulsa 78-66.
