"The Hunger Games" is shaping up to be the most buzzed-about movie of this spring.

I hear chatter (especially among those who have read Suzanne Collins' trilogy of books, and especially among women) every time there's a new photo, a new teaser poster, a new anything that has anything to do with the movie.

A new trailer on Thursday gives a good look at the film in just over a minute of viewing. I'm eager to see what Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence ("Winter's Bone") will do with the heroine role of Katniss Everdeen.

The movie is released in theaters on March 23 (the Friday of spring break in Tulsa). As the lastest trailer reflects, there is additional news also announced on Thursday: "The Hunger Games" will open in IMAX on March 23 also, for a one-week run in the giant-screen format.

Check out the new trailer for "The Hunger Games."
