It's a boy for Bill and Giuliana Rancic.
The "E! News" anchor and her entrepreneur husband became parents with the birth of a son via gestational carrier Wednesday in Denver, Colo.
"The 'Duke' has landed! Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7lbs 4oz. G & I feel blessed beyond words... We did it!" Bill Rancic announced via Twitter.
The baby boy was born at 10:12 p.m., weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and was 20 inches long, eonline.com reported. Rancic cut the umbilical cord and his wife was the first person to hold the baby, according to the website.
"Bill and I are blessed beyond words to welcome Edward into our lives," the new mother told the website. "Thank you so much to everyone who supported us along the way. We are so in love with the little guy already!"
The newborn arrived in time for the couple's fifth wedding anniversary Saturday.
"He is doing incredibly well," Giuliana Rancic added, saying "Edward has already had his first bath and that everyone is now resting comfortably," reported the website.
It was a doctor in Denver who was treating the couple for infertility who first suggested the entertainment journalist get a mammogram. The x-rays revealed she had early stage breast cancer.
She received radiation treatment, underwent a double mastectomy and her disease is considered in remission, the couple said in a broadcast interview in April.
Rancic, also a motivational speaker, won the first season of NBC's "The Apprentice" and both star in the Style Network reality series "Bill & Giuliana." They also co-authored the book of "I Do... Now What."
"THANK YOU for ur love & prayers!" she tweeted Thursday.
"E! News" airs at 6 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. weeknights on cable 60. New episodes of "Bill & Giuliana" begin airing Oct. 2.
