Stephen Colbert is hosting his own music festival this year — from the deck of the retired World War II aircraft carrier the U.S. Intrepid at New York City’s Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

The event is set for Aug. 10 on the Hudson River in New York City and will be filmed and his nightly “Colbert Report” broadcast on Comedy Central will showcase a performance and an interview from each artist to air during the week of Aug. 13.
“We are gonna rock the boat, which won’t be easy because the Intrepid displaces 41,434 tons,” he said. “Does Bonnaroo have cruise missiles? I think not.”
