"The Last Lions" is a new documentary about African lions, and it opens on Friday at Circle Cinema, with Tulsa Zoo keepers attending some shows.
It's a gorgeous-looking nature tale from National Geographic. It's an inspiring display of a mother's love and her fierce protection of her cubs.
It's unique in that it's narrated by Jeremy Irons, who gave voice to the evil Scar in "The Lion King."
It also contains violence of the animal kingdom sort. Not too much, but enough to gain a PG rating. Of course, one parent's level of acceptable violence may not match the next mother or father.
