This man seems to be having MUCH more fun watering than I have. Then again, he's probably not as into murder as my plants think I am.
LIVING WRIGHT
I've only been to ONEOK Field three times, and all have been for work.
The last time I was there, I had an awesome Siegi's ...
I can carry a wonderful tune -- provided a bucket comes with it. A large bucket with sturdy handles.
But a special group ...
Recently, a couple friends have suggested I get a roommate.
It's strictly for financial reasons -- although, now that ...
I think that's what I should've titled my blog, but oh, well. So I need to confess to a few murders I've committed this summer, got a sec?
As far as I know, it doesn't pertain to real people, just plants. Notably, Mr. Plant and Bob, who are quite nigh to going to the great greenhouse in the sky.
I'm not really sure what Mr. Plant is -- elephant ears? Some kinda big ivy? No clue. And Bob (short for Robert Plant) is a miniature ficus. Granted, 80 percent of him looks OK; but it's the shriveled-up bits that worry me. You see, my mom has a HUGE ficus she's moved all over the South from house to house. Ficuses (fici?) aren't too keen on being moved, I've been told, but hers has weathered more than 30 years and about as many moves. (We're Baptist gypsies, my family and I.)
On a serious note, I'm feeling quite guilty for killing things. I'm most worried about the Japanese maple in the backyard. This morning while watering to the Mamas and the Papas, I started talking to Mr. J-Ma, telling him I was sorry and that I'll take better care of him, that kinda stuff.
Yeah, I have no idea why my plants are all male. And that I'm killing them. Hmmm ...
Moving on (but staying in the crazy vein), I had a whacked-out dream about my dearly departed friend Youngun last night. I dream about him at least a few times a week, and I've been dreaming about Ex every other week -- probably more since Youngun's funeral June 4 than I had the previous 2+ years. And I'm pretty sure that means I'm crazy.
But upward and onward! I'd like to start ending my daily(ish) blog with something positive -- unless I'm talking about a sale, which is positive enough in its own right, right? Right. So, something positive ... Let's see ... Still thinkin' ... Oh! I did yoga today, plus 30 minutes on the elliptical, so yay!
Peace, love and positivity ... XOXO
P.S: Remind me to tell you about my Monday night with the kids, PLUS what's really going on with my foot.
