Just curious -- did anyone else see something fall from the sky around 9 p.m. last night?

My wife and I were driving back from Owasso and were on Highway 169 heading south when we noticed something streaking out of the heavens. It was small, and glowed bluish-white before disappearing, still some ways from the ground.

It's possible that it was some kind of meteor -- that was my wife's thought -- or maybe some bit of debris from some airborne vessel that burned up as it plummeted through the atmosphere.

Of course, the remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" opened Friday, and movie publicists are known to go to ridiculous lengths to promote their products......
