Maybe you heard they're turning the Barry Switzer book "Bootlegger's Boy" into a movie. Bob Stoops was informed of that fact after practice Wednesday. His response will do for a nice end-of-the-week story:
"That'd be awesome. I heard the book on audio. My wife and I, pre kids, we're driving from Iowa to Geneva on the Lake in Ohio up on Lake Erie, so it was about a 10-hour drive. I used to, in my younger days, drive in the middle of the night.
"One of the books on audio I got was Bootlegger's Boy. With his voice, it was fabulous. Whatever it was, two or three hours, I was entertained. It was like you were watching a movie. I thought it was fabulous. It'll be a great movie."
