Some options of things to do around town this week:

Sunday
It's Mother's Day! If you're still looking for ideas of places to take mom, consider the special Mother's Day concert at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, 111 E. First St., at 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10-$20, available at 918-281-8609 or tulsaworld.com/mytix.

Or head to the Tulsa Zoo, where all guests receive half-price admission on Mother's Day. The Oklahoma Aquarium is offering free admission to moms on their special day.

Monday

Mayfest starts Thursday. Consider paying a visit to the Tulsa PAC on Monday to check out an exhibit in its gallery celebrating the 40th anniversary of the festival. The gallery showcases Mayfest posters, photos from Mayfest’s archives, and Mayfest memorabilia. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The exhibit will be on display through May 30.

Tuesday
Check out either of two concerts Tuesday night. Five Finger Death Punch plays at the Brady Theater, with doors opening at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. show. Tickets are $27-$35, available at tulsaworld.com/brady.

Also Tuesday, St. Vincent will be at Cain's Ballroom at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $19 in advance and $21 the day of the show, available at tulsaworld.com/cains.

Wednesday
The library's "Music Sandwiched In" program continues this week. Head to Central Library during your lunch break on Wednesday to hear Michael Fresonke perform interpretations of timeless guitar arrangements as well as his own original compositions. From 12:10 to 12:50 p.m.

Thursday
Comedian Gabriel Iglesias will be at the Tulsa Convention Center 8 p.m. Thursday. Tickets are $40, available at tulsaworld.com/conventioncenter.
