Horses, fall festivals and informational programs are on the calendar this week.

Sunday
Catch the last day of Oktoberfest today at River West Festival Park, 2100 S. Jackson Ave.
German food, music and numerous activities are all part of the event.
Admission is $6, and hours are 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Or catch the last performance of Tulsa Opera's first production of the season, Donizetti’s “The Daughter of the Regiment." The performance is
at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at the Tulsa PAC. Tickets are $45-$98, available at 918-587-4811 or tulsaworld.com/mytix.

Monday

The University of Tulsa Department of Film Studies presents the fourth
annual TU Fall Film Festival at 7 p.m. Monday in the Gussman Theater of the Lorton Performance Center, 550 S. Gary Place.
The free event will include screenings of new student films, ranging from comedies to love stories. A reception will follow, with refreshments served. Raffle prizes will also be part of the event.

Also on Monday, the Islamic Society of Tulsa will present the first session of “Muhammad: Truth, Lies & Stereotypes.”
The session is the first of a three-part series about Prophet Muhammad. Monday’s session is titled “The Character of the Man.” The next two sessions are scheduled for Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 and are titled “The Family Man” and “What Would Muhammad do.” Each session will include a presentation and question-and-answer segment.
All sessions are free and will be held at Peace Academy, 4620 S. Irvington Ave., from 7 to 9 p.m.
No reservations are necessary.

Tuesday
The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be at the BOK Center Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. concert. Thundercat will open. Tickets are $37.50 and $57.50, available at tulsaworld.com/bok or 866-7-BOKCTR.

Tulsa Community College is screening “Stonewall Jackson” at 1 p.m. Tuesday in room NE1603 of the Northeast campus, 3727 E. Apache St. The 50-minute film is a 2007 A&E biography.
The event is part of an ongoing Civil War Sesquicentennial Commemoration presented by TCC faculty who have planned year-round events on the subject. All program activities, which seek to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the war, are free and open to the public. The same film will be screened at the TCC Metro campus, 909 S. Boston Ave., at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Wednesday
The U.S. National Arabian and Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show will be at Expo Square through Saturday.
Attendees will enjoy competitions, performances, tours and shopping opportunities. Nearly 2,000 horses are registered for this year's show.
Wednesday is the last day for free admission. Starting Thursday, admission is $10 for adults and $7.50 for students and seniors. Kids 12 and younger are free.

Thursday
Northeastern State University's Broken Arrow campus, 3100 East New Orleans, will hold its annual Fall Festival from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday in the Administrative Services Building.
This year’s theme, “Hawk’s Pumpkin Patch”, will provide kid-friendly family fun for all ages with free food, carnival games and an outdoor hayride.
This event is free and children are encouraged to participate dressed in their Halloween costumes.
