MondayThe final session of the Islamic Society of Tulsa's “Muhammad: Truth, Lies & Stereotypes” series will be 7-9 p.m. Monday at Peace Academy, 4620 S. Irvington Ave.
The session is titled “What Would Muhammad do?” and will discuss what the prophet's reaction would be to recent events, including a film defaming him.
The free event will include a presentation and question-and-answer segment. No reservations necessary.
TuesdayThe marching bands for Broken Arrow and Union both have send-off performances before they leave for the Bands of America Grand National Championship. Union's performance is at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Union-Tuttle Stadium, and the Broken Arrow performance is at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Stadium.
Broken Arrow will be collecting canned food donations at the gate for Broken Arrow Neighbors.
WednesdayConsider checking out any of the exhibits at the local museums Wednesday, including “Models and Muses: Max Weber and the Figure,” which opened at Philbrook Museum this week.
ThursdayEnjoy some Lebanese food on Thursday at Hafli, the annual festival fundraiser at St. Antony Orthodox Christian Church, 2645 E. Sixth St.
Meal prices are $15 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and younger. The event is set for Thursday through Nov. 11. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.
