Redditor bogus_wheel's boyfriend got down on one knee and handed her ... a piece of paper.
Redditor
bogus_wheel is a physicist whose physicist boyfriend proposed to her in a way I think "The Big Bang Theory's" Sheldon Cooper would heartily approve of: scientifically.
Mr. Scientist created a
one-page paper that mimics a peer-reviewed academic journal. In it, he asks Miss Scientist to check yes or no in reference to "indefinite continuation of the study" that is their seven-year relationship.

Adorable. Now if Miss Scientist is anything like Sheldon Cooper's paramour Amy Farrah Fowler, she's working on a series of amendments to the relationship agreement as we speak.
The date on the paper is March 2012, but the story just started making the rounds on blogs this week.
