From "The Color Run" to the new George Washington exhibit, there is plenty of variety for Tulsans looking for an adventure this weekend.

Summer's Fifth Night
The 21st annual Summer’s Fifth Night concert series continues at Utica Square on Thursday. The concert series is free, and concerts are scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. every Thursday through Aug. 30.
This week’s concert will feature Pop Machine for a night of pop/rock. Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic or dine at one of Utica Square’s numerous restaurants.

Story Time in the Garden
Looking for story time somewhere other than the library? Take the kids to Linnaeus Teaching Garden in Woodward Park at 10 a.m. Thursday. The gardeners will read a story revolving around nature. The event is free. Story times are set for every Thursday through August.

The Color Run
The Color Run
Add some color to your week with The Color Run, set for 8:30 a.m. on Saturday at River West Festival Park, 2100 S. Jackson Ave. Wear a white T-shirt for the 5K, where volunteers will spray participants with “magical color dust” as they hit each kilometer. The website promises that you’ll end the race looking like you fell into a “Willy Wonka tie-dyed vat of colored goodness.”

Registration is $45-$50, but the race is currently sold out. Visit tulsaworld.com/colorrun to get on a waiting list, or just head out to watch the fun.

‘Who Dat Dirty Bird?’
The “Who Dat Dirty Bird?” celebrity basketball game is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Tulsa Convention Center Arena. The event is presented by the Follow Your Dreams Foundation, whose mission is to help youth get involved in after-school activities in their local communities.
Super Bowl champion and Tulsa native Robert Meachem of the San Diego Chargers and Dominique Franks of the Atlanta Falcons, along with their NFL and NBA friends — including Blake Griffin, Ekpe Udoh and Sam Bradford — will come to Tulsa to raise funds to support Follow Your Dreams Foundation Programs and The Dream Scholarship.
Tickets are $17-$102, available at tulsaworld.com/conventioncenter.

George Washington exhibit
About 100 original objects associated with George Washington will be on display at Gilcrease Museum when "Discover the Real George Washington: New Views from Mount Vernon" opens on Sunday. The exhibit runs through Sept. 23, and will introduce people to the person behind the president.
The exhibit will look at Washington's life as a young land surveyor, farmer and entrepreneur. His views on religion and slavery are also explored.
