Music, food and cycling are on this weekend's calendar

Tulsa Tough
The Saint Francis Tulsa Tough racing series takes over the city Friday through Sunday. The event includes professional cycling races, touring rides called GranFondos, the Lobeck-Taylor Family Foundation Townie family bike ride and kids’ races.
Races will take place in the Blue Dome district, the Brady district and the River Parks area.

OK Mozart

The OK Mozart International Festival ­— a 10-day showcase of performances by local and national artists — begins Friday in Bartlesville. This year's festival will feature more than 100 performances by about 150 musicians, including five Grammy winners. This weekend’s major events include Friday’s opening ceremonies at Johnstone Park; a jazz concert with bassist-vocalist Esperanza Spalding, pianist Geri Davis and drummer Terri Lynn Carrington on Saturday; and Alloy Orchestra’s “Masters of Slapstick” on Sunday. Taste of Bixby
Head to the SpiritBank Event Center, 10441 S. Regal Blvd., to get a taste of Bixby. From 5:30 to 8 p.m. today, food and drink samples from Bixby and south Tulsa restaurants and wineries will be featured. Live music will be provided by Kevin Jameson. Tickets are $10.

Quilt Tulsa 2012
The Green Country Quilters Guild is hosting Quilt Tulsa 2012 on Friday and Saturday. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at Expo Square’s Central Hall Park.
More than 450 quilts will be on display, and a quilt auction will be held. Numerous vendors, a certified quilt appraiser, free lectures by the Hoop Sisters and sewing machine giveaways will also be part of the event.

Music for a cause

The Voice for the Voiceless concert takes place Saturday at Chaos, 100 N. Main St. in Sapulpa. Admission is one new or gently used suitcase, backpack or duffel bag. The event will benefit CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children. Six bands are set to perform at this benefit concert, scheduled from 4 to 11 p.m.
