The event is from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at Martin Regional Library, 2601 S. Garnett Road. Sasha Martin of “Global Table Adventure” will talk about her project to eat her way around the world, trying 195 meals from 195 countries in 195 weeks.

Cherokee National HolidayAbout 40 events are scheduled for the 60th Cherokee National Holiday Friday through Sunday in Tahlequah. The holiday showcases the best of Cherokee art, food, music, crafts, sports, culture and history and most events and attractions are free. All events will be held at the Cherokee Cultural Grounds, West 810 Road.
