Guthrie Green events
Catch a free screening of “Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory” at the Guthrie Green park, 111 E. Brady St., today at 8:30 p.m.
On Sunday, browse the Sunday Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or enjoy the musicians at the Horton Records concert from 2 to 6 p.m.

Free music
This week’s Summer’s Fifth Night concert at Utica Square will feature rock and roll music from Bop Cats. The concert is from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Or catch some country-rock music at the Riverwalk Crossing Concert Series when Justin Adams performs at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Cuts for Kids

Clary Sage College and Oklahoma Technical College are also holding their annual Cuts for Kids events.
The free cuts will be available at Clary Sage College, 3131 S. Sheridan Road, from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. today, and at Oklahoma Technical College, 4444 S. Sheridan Road, from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 14-15. No appointments are necessary.
The services are performed by cosmetology and barber students and alumni and are meant as an opportunity to gain real-world experience, as well as give back to the community.

Youth Outdoor Expo
The Tulsa Bird Dog Association is hosting the Youth Outdoor Expo at the Tulsa Gun Club from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Tulsa Gun Club is at, 8888 E. Mohawk Blvd. North, four miles east of Highway 75 on 56th St. North.
The free event is open to all youth and families and will focus on outdoor education, safety and promoting upland hunting in Northeast Oklahoma.
Oklahoma game wardens and local clubs will be on hand to teach participants how to shoot archery, rimfire rifles, shotguns and BB guns.
A free lunch will be provided to all participants.

Open Hike Day
From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, hikers can enjoy a free hike on the trails at the Keystone Ancient Forest in Sand Springs.
Hikers may hike alone or request a trail guide, if enough are available.
No reservations are necessary, and no pets are allowed. Call 918-246-2561 for more information.

Consignment sale

Rhea Lana’s of South Tulsa is having its fall back-to-school consignment sale event Sunday through Aug. 17, at The Shoppes at Regal Plaza, 106th Street and Memorial Drive.
You’ll find clothes, toys, books and more.
Admission to the event is free.
