The Bedlam Run, a powwow and a horse show are all on the calendar this week.
Tulsa PowwowThe Tulsa Indian Club’s 61st annual Tulsa Powwow will be at the SpiritBank Event Center, 10441 S. Regal Blvd., Friday through Sunday.
Representatives from numerous tribes will be at the powwow, which begins at 5 p.m. Friday with a gourd dance.
Arts and crafts booths and American Indian food will also be part of the event.

American Buckskin showThe American Buckskin 26th Annual World Championship Show will be at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at Expo Square through Saturday,.
The show will feature eight open categories, nine amateur categories and nine youth categories.
Numerous vendors will be set up at the show. Showing starts at 7:30 each morning. Admission is free.
Aquarium celebrates 10 years Noted ocean explorer and conservationist Jean-Michel Cousteau will be in town to help the Oklahoma Aquarium celebrate its 10th anniversary. Children will have the opportunity to interact with Cousteau at a family-friendly event at the aquarium at 10 a.m. Saturday. The talk will be in the Great Hall and will focus on the importance of marine life and how kids can help protect oceans and the many species living in them. General aquarium admission rates apply, but seating is limited. Bedlam RunIf you want to take your school spirit to the next level, sign up for the Bedlam Run, set for 7:30 a.m. Saturday in Tulsa’s Blue Dome District.
The run benefits the OSU Alumni Association and the OU Club of Tulsa and features 5k and 10k options, as well as a 1-mile fun run.
Registration is $30 and begins at 6:30 a.m. on race day at Second Street and Frankfort Avenue, in front of Fleet Feet Sports Tulsa. Music, food and activities will be on the agenda after the race.

Free concertsThis week’s Summer’s Fifth Night concert at Utica Square will feature the Starr Fisher Ensemble. Music starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 25.
The Riverwalk Crossing Concert Series features pop/rock music from Pop Machine at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 27.
Films on the LawnPhilbrook Museum of Art’s Films on the Lawn series continues this week. “Badlands,” Terrence Malick’s first film, will play on Friday. The movie stars Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek.
The movie starts at dusk; gates open at 7:30 p.m.
Brownie’s Hamburgers food truck will be at the museum during that time. Guests are also welcome to bring their own picnics.
Admission is $7; $5 for museum members.
