Sunday night: Atlanta 104, OKC 95

Newly acquired shooting guard Kevin Martin led OKC in scoring with 28 points, but that wasn’t enough to beat the Atlanta Hawks Sunday night.

Al Horford led the way for the Hawks with 23 points and 12 rebounds.
Atlanta led for much of the game, but it was a tight contest heading into the game's final frame with the two teams just one point apart.

That's when Lou Williams took over.

Williams scored 10 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter and showed off his clutch gene in the process. He was a major cog in the Hawks' 12-4 run that helped them snatch the game out of Oklahoma City's grasp.

Friday: OKC 106, Portland 92

Next, take a look at this move from Kevin Durant on Friday against Portland. Durant breaks Sasha Pavlovic`s ankles and dishes to Nick Collison for the two-handed jam.

OKC's Russell Westbrook played like an All-Star against Portland. In 35 minutes, he scored 32 points on 13-of-24 shooting, and he totaled six assists against only one turnover. On Friday, Oklahoma City was driven by a familiar dynamic. There was a combined total of 55 points from Westbrook and Durant, and there was a 19-point contribution from the sixth man - the 29-year-old Martin, who played for five seasons in Sacramento and for three in Houston.

More James Harden

Not really a Thunder highlight, but I can’t stop talking about James Harden. Harden dropped 45 points on Atlanta Friday night. Harden shot 14 of 19 and pulled down seven rebounds. Harden scored 37 points in the Rockets' first game of the season - a 105-96 road win Wednesday night over the Detroit Pistons.
