“
Thunder Up! Racing for the Prize,” is a remake of the band’s “Race for the Prize,” from 1999s album “The Soft Bulletin.”
“And when they win / we win with them / oh they keep fighting for Ok-la-ho-ma!” sings Lips frontman
Wayne Coyne in the three-minute ditty, which includes a long chant of “Thunder up!,” replete with handclaps.
The song’s been featured on websites for Sports Illustrated, Punknews, Yahoo Sports, NBA.com and others.
