Tickets are stiill available for the Tulsa Public Schools Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Banquet scheduled next Thursday, Jan. 24, at The Doubletree at Warren Place.

Individual tickets are $100. The reception starts at 6 p.m. and the banquet is at 7 p.m.

Inductees in the Hall of Fame's first class are Tony Casillas, Randy Hughes, Spencer Tillman, Brent Blackman, Luther Pegues, Gary Howard, Reuben Gant and Rod Kilgore, as well as posthumous selections Wayman Tisdale, Ed Lacy, S.E. Williams, Grady Skillern, Bill Allen, Don Chandler and Charles Mason.

All nine TPS high schools are represented. In future years, each year’s class will include no more than five selections.

Wetumka's All-State running back Derrick Moore has committed to play football at Northeastern State. Moore rushed for 1,685 yards, on 10.2 per carry, and had 28 touchdowns as a senior in 2012.

Verbal commitments are not binding. National Signing Day is Feb. 6.
