If you’d like to be in Iowa State’s Jack Trice Stadium for the University of Tulsa’s Sept. 1 opener against the Cyclones, Spears Travel has partnered with TU to offer travel packages.

TU did not divulge prices in a press release, but one of the packages includes round-trip air travel, transfers to the West Des Moines Marriott and to the game in Ames, a game ticket, hotel accommodations and all taxes and gratuities. Land-only packages are also available.

Contact numbers: For Spears Travel, 918-254-1608 or 800-688-8033. For TU’s Office of Alumni Relations, 918-631-2555 or 800-219-4688. For the Golden Hurricane Club, 918-631-2342.

Against the Golden Hurricane, Iowa State plays at home for the first time since recording a 37-31, double-overtime conquest of then-No. 2-ranked Oklahoma State on Nov. 18. The Cyclones were 6-7 last season. After beating OSU, Iowa State closed with losses to Oklahoma, Kansas State and Rutgers (Pinstripe Bowl).
