"The Chew" celebrates Earth Day with Grammy Award-winning country singer and cookbook author Trisha Yearwood at noon Friday on ABC, channel 8.

Yearwood, author of "Home Cooking With Trisha Yearwood: Stories and Recipes to Share With Your Family and Friends," is also the host of "Trisha's Southern Kitchen" cooking series airing at 9:30 a.m. Saturdays on Food Network, cable 58.

Yearwood, who lives near Tulsa and is married to Oklahoma country music superstar Garth Brooks, is also the author of "Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen," released in 2008.
