Just a reminder that the documentary "One Step at a Time" about Tulsa Ballet, produced by the Jenks High School film and television department, will air at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on KOED channel 11.

This hour-long film covers the ballet's 2007-2008 season, culminating in the opening of the company's new theater and the debut performance of its trio of world premiere ballets, "About Tango."

I have seen probably more than my share of dance films over the years, and this one is exceptional. It captures the dedication and discipline of the dancers, the vision and fervor of artistic director Marcello Angelini, and the personality of the company as a whole, aas well as the personality of the individuals that make up that company.
