The latest version of our iPad app is now available from the App Store and it includes a popular request.

"We have a very vibrant comment community. People not only read the stories, but they want to read the reactions to the stories."
Editor & Publisher, a magazine that's on the desk of most newspaper publishers and editors in America, includes a story in its March issue about apps that features the Tulsa World.
It includes how popular our digital products have been with print subscribers, who are using them throughout the day after reading the paper in the morning.
I love that
Tim Sohn, who wrote the story, included what I said about our app developer, George Gianopoulos. He's a veteran developer who came to the Tulsa World after working for Microsoft for a long time. He has turned into our Apple and Android expert. He has a nickname around here. iGeorge.
The story also includes what's going on with other papers around the country, including the Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle and The Columbus Dispatch.
