Former Tulsan Josh Henderson stars in the continuation of the series "Dallas," premiering at 8 p.m. Wednesdays on TNT, cable 29. MARK SELIGER/TNT
"Dallas" is coming. "Dallas" is coming.
Okay, maybe he even wasn't born when the original series aired but Tulsan (and Memorial graduate) Josh Henderson has a passion for the new TNT series and his starring role. And he talks about it in an interview in Sunday's Tulsa World Scene Section.
This "Dallas" is a continuation with Henderson - who everyone will remember from FX's "Over There" and ABC's "Desperate Housewives" - plays spoiled rich kid John Ross, son of J.R. and Sue Ellen Ewing.
He talks about how he got the part, working with original series cast members Larry Hagman, Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy and how excited his Mom is about his success in my interview with him in Sunday's Tulsa World Scene section.
Oh, and he said to tell Tulsa "Hello." And that's he's still doing music, has an idea for his own baseball film and he doesn't concentrate on the bizarre stuff like having his picture taken with a camera phone and seeing it posted with the text "Josh Henderson walking out of Dallas airport."
"It makes life a little different," he said.
For a taste of the series, here's a promo for this continuation of the family saga and, after the video, a featurette to catch viewers up on the history of the famed Ewing clan just so you’ll know who backstabbed whom, who slept with whom and who dealt the dirtiest deal of all – all before the premiere of "Dallas” Wednesday at 8 p.m. on TNT, cable 29.
