Tulsa native Bill Hader will reprise his voice role as inventor Flint Lockwood in the animated "Cloudy With Meatballs" sequel.
Hader, who is nominated for an Emmy for his work on NBC's "Saturday Night Live," will be joined by most of the original voice cast from the film including Anna Faris as weather girl Sam Sparks, James Caan as Flint's father, Andy Samberg as a local celebrity, Neil Patrick Harris as "the gummy-loving" monkey and Benjamin Bratt as Spark’s cameraman, reported hollywoodreporter.com Tuesday.
Will Forte will return but in a new role as inventor Chester V, Lockwood's idol. New to the cast will be Terry Crews as a Swallow Falls policeman and Kristen Schaal as an orangutan with a human brain who likes to wear lipstick, according to the website.
Titled "Cloudy 2: Revenge of the Leftovers," the film will be released in 3D on Feb. 7, 2014.
Hader, who has been a regular cast member since 2005, will return in new episodes of "Saturday Night Live" in the fall.
