The 11-year-old stepson of the Grammy Award-winning singer has been declared brain dead after an accident this weekend, TMZ reports.

Kyle Glover, son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster, and a 15-year-old friend were inner tubing Friday on Georgia's Lake Lanier when he and the teen girl were run over by a man on a personal watercraft, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Kyle, who was struck in the head, was knocked unconscious and both children were soon airlifted to a nearby hospital. Usher was said to have joined his stepson at the hospital on Sunday, TMZ has reported.

By late Friday, the girl was in stable condition, officials told the AJC.
