Think things are bad on "Downton Sixbey" airing this week on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon."

In the third episode of the "Downton Abbey" spoof, the brainchild of Fallon, hard times have hit the upstairs and downstairs at Britain's Sixbey castle.

The latest heir, who survived a previous accident with Christina Aguilera, is presumed dead following a tragic hot air balloon accident that also involved Usher and Shakira. And, due to a bad investment in the Shake Weight workout device and the Thank Heaven Friday Is Here restaurant chain, the family is out of money and forced to share a single goblet of claret.

But there is good news: A proposal to Lady Hedith - not "loveliest daughter Lady Kathryn or smoking hot daughter Lady Amber" - might cheer everyone up.

Downstairs, Higgins the butler insists during these "desperate times" that the staff must recycle their jokes. Also, a nasty remark by cue card valet Thompson forces Higgins to reveal his true past.

Fallon plays the Earl of Downton Sixbey with guest-stars Brooke Shields as his wife Nora, A.D. Miles as the Dowager Countess, Fred Armisen as the "looks-challenged" Lady Hedith and Whoopi Goldberg as cousin Lady Whoopi who arrives with her son, the new heir Lord Questlove, a former drummer who attained his title following the tragic hot air balloon accident that appears to have claimed the life of previous heir Carson Daly.

In Episode Four, a wedding is planned.

The title of the periodic comedy sketch, which began airing in April 2012, comes from the name of the studio, 6B, home of "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," airing at 10:35 p.m. weeknights on NBC, channel 2, cable 9.

Here's all episodes one through four of "Downton Sixbey." Parental discretion advised.
